So a four year plan is basicly the plan that you make based on the conditions that you need to fulfill in order to earn your Iowa State Degree in just four years.

What you need to do in order to get your own four year plan is:

Go to your advisor (room 213 Atanasoff) to discuss the best courses that you can take to complete the minimum requirement to graduate (That is 124.5 credits)

The benefits that you can have from it is:

You can save some money, since you know exactly what courses that you want to take for each semester(Since for changing/dropping/adding courses, you will need to spend more money;
You will have a good preparation for each courses, since you can plan your study way ahead by knowing what courses that you want to take in the future;
For some programs, for example the honor program you will need to make this four year plan to be able to be a full membership in that program;
You can manage your time well, so even if you cannot get the course that you need in a certain semester, or maybe you fail some courses, you can rearrange your plan easily by having the four year plan;
The Four Year Graduation (Soar in Four Year) plan will definitely require you to make one Four Year Schedule just like the example above.
