A few pictures taken by my Mom or brother when I went to Las Vegas in May 2006 to celebrate Mother's Day and my birthday.
Me winning in LV

Obligatory slots picture taken right after I put in one dollar and won 35. Luckiest bet I made - I ended up breaking even by my informal tally (that is, money won minus money bet regardless of source of funds) but 80 dollars down from my wallet when I got home. Oh, and the machine is Great Scott, my favorite due to the icons and the mini games of "shave the sheep" and "find Nessie".

Me playing with Ben Afleck

My favorite picture from Madame Tousaud's in Las Vegas. Some of the people didn't look very close to life (like Prince) but others were almost right on (like this one modulo reflectiveness).

Drinks from around the world

Taken inside the 4-story Coke store in Vegas. My brother, who had visited a Coca-Cola factory somewhere else, knew we had to try the "Taste from Around the World". Tastes included apples, bubblegum, ginger ale, and orange from places like Israel, France, the middle east, India, China, and Japan but no "coke". A couple really nasty ones though.

Brother Matt with Borg

Taken at the Star Trek attraction at the Las Vegas Hilton near Quark's Bar. Each hotel had at least one major attraction and two major shows going on (i.e. people whose names I recognized!). This may be the only picture of my brother that I've posted, come to think of it.

M and Menorah

Taken inside the M and M store next to the Coke store. The idea of an M and M Menorah is amusing and it's even better that it's defective and a fire hazard. Really, if you're using an M and M Menorah, don't you deserve your house purnt down?

Me and NY,NY Casino

Picture of me from the last day in front of the New York, New York Casino (slash hotel but all casinos were hotels). The roller coaster on top was fun to ride but cost too much and gave me a headache from the side-to-side motions. You can see the Deuce double-decker bus in the background - for $2 each ride or $5 for a day pass, it was the cheapest transportation!
