Welcome to the home page of Brian Patterson, currently a PhD student at Iowa State University in CS. I'm studying artificial intelligence (specifically, parallel learning of and hidden variables in Bayesian networks) and you can read about my work on that here. Before that, I was a web monkey for Carleton College and, before that, I spent 4 years at Carleton ostensibly to get a degree in Computer Science and Psychology.
