Our daughter, Nidhi Parekh, was born on May 24, 2005.
In October 2004, I joined the Strategic Data Research team at Yahoo! and am working on data mining and analytics related projects.
On July 14 2003, Vaidehi and
I welcomed our son, Jash Parekh, to this world.
From June 2000 to October 2004, I worked with the Datamining Group at Blue Martini Software in California.
In Nov 1999, I married a
demure artist, Vaidehi Shah, from Ahmedabad in India. Vaidehi does oil on canvass paintings and specializes in Indian folk culture and Indian mythology. Here is a preview of Vaidehi's art work.
From Feb 1998 to June 2000,
I was a Senior Research Associate with the Datamining Group at the Allstate
Research and Planning Center in California.
I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Iowa State University in 1998.
I graduated with B.E. in Computer
Technology from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institiute in 1991.
